Created in 2009 by Françoise Privat, the LILI-UBEL gallery was opened on the 24th of May of this year.

The LILI-UBEL gallery is located in the heart of a quarter steeped in history and with a wealth of artists’ and craftsmen’s studios. Its founder, of Basque origin, chose to give a Basque name to her gallery (Lili-Ubel means “Little violet-coloured flower”).

By virtue of her own parentage, (both her father and grandfather were “Best Craftsman in France” laureates as respectively gilder and visual artist/colourist), Françoise Privat was immersed in the art world from an early age.

Since then she belongs to the great family of artist craftsmen that is central to the fashion and contemporary universe.

The LILI-UBEL gallery introduces artists each having their own distinctive universe.

Through assorted mediums the gallery brings to light a contemporary scene overflowing with vitality.

Address : 24 rue de la Folie Mericourt – 75011 Paris – France

The gallery is open : Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays on appointment.
